Uncertain economic and logistical feasibility of inserting large cogen plant into late stage redevelopment (MEP designs were advanced)

  • Assembled world-class design, build, own, operate, maintain (DBOOM) team to develop concept, guarantee savings and assume risk.

  • Creatively optimized plant size and location to maximize energy savings for owner.

  • Satisfied owner on key feasibility concerns including schedule, BIM coordination, emissions, noise and rigging during a 12 month underwriting period.

OWNER BENEFITS

  • 100 percent of necessary funds secured to pay for design, construction and long-term operation and maintenance of new cogen (plus boiler) system.

  • Significant annual savings after annual energy payments to plant owner (savings amount confidential).

  • Resiliency from all of heat and roughly 75 percent of electricity generated on-site.
